10/22 5:20am | MrDave and NYE | We (including the kids) have been going to Phi Tau so Sarah can see her brothers, as it's the only time anyone we know are ever there.
Other than that, those days should be pretty free, and Sarah'll probably be on Xmas vay-kay. |
03/08 4:30am | Argh. | So very orange... |
01/29 3:22pm | RUN! | Zombies in Texas! |
12/06 2:35pm | You axed for it piggy. | Christopher Walken tells the three little pigs. Seriously. |
10/09 1:06am | VOTE NOW! | Vote for me! MEEEE!!! |
06/14 12:06am | I wanna be your dog. | Transporter 3 international trailer. |
05/30 5:42pm | Well... | Gas is now $3.93 + locally, though I saw a place in Bradford today that had it for $3.86 (regular).
Nice to work from home, lemme tell ya. |
05/27 2:39pm | Grah. | As of today, about $3.86 to $3.89 locally for regular, and up from there. I think the cheapest I've seen was in Lebanon, but that was last week, $3.66. |
05/15 11:15pm | You... you are the rocket man. | You too can be the rocket man. |
04/23 5:37pm | Woo. | Cool... my story/screenplay doesn't have too many of these (and my character is already super-powered by the beginning of the story). |
03/20 3:23pm | BEEEJAAAAAAYYYYY | Have you experienced, Benny Lava? |
02/07 6:29pm | Pop, pop, wretch, wretch. | I just drank one of these. Been nice knowing y'all, because now, I have to kill myself to make amends. |
01/26 1:15am | Slow my bitch up. | Kylie and Prodigy get along just fine. |
01/09 1:14am | Matrix Club | Neo, I want you to hit me as hard as you can. |
12/19 1:01pm | Tidy Portfolio | Doing a bit of end-of-year cleaning, so I'm selling a few of my sketches on eBay. Head on over to my seller account for a looksie and more info, if y'all care, or know someone who might. Thanks! |
12/12 2:41am | $1 for me, more for them. | Look -- my art is being sold on eBay, and I'm not even the seller! CLICK. The sellers are making more per card than I did. :\ |
11/22 3:33am | Gobble, gobble. | Happy Turkey Day to all y'all. |
09/14 2:20am | Great googallymoogally. | HOLY BANG-BANG-PEW-PEW! |
09/12 12:35am | Mort or Mortensen | Whatever you do -- don't vote for him again. The truth is plain. |
08/13 5:52pm | Dumbass | You might've seen this, but I just saw it again, and had to share -- Pimp SLAPPED! |
07/15 11:38pm | Marathon 360 | Durandal: What goes around... |
01/13 1:44am | Bring back the BOOM. | Buy a MiG on eBay. |
01/09 11:18pm | Apple Phone | I didn't care about the iPhone at all until I saw bits of the keynote. It's quite the neat-o wheat-o device... but call me when it's cheaper, and after the first gen has a buncha problems with stuff. |
01/07 12:53pm | Nicholl and Dime | In case there was any doubt, the AMPAS people finally updated the Nicholl Fellowship website. Click here to be taken to the list of 2006's Nicholl Semifinalist --- look for me alphabetically. Neat. |
11/14 11:05pm | Back2Back. | Back on the East Coast. Hello.
B5 fans, take note. Not "The Movie" I heard about, but still interesting nevertheless. |
11/11 11:16pm | Cali still. | Meeting out here went good. Long and short, they think the script could use some punching up in places, but they want to work with me to make it all it can be (and therefore eventually get me repped and get it out there to get made). Now just waiting to go home.
Yup... randomly screened in MHT again. Almost made me miss the flight... the flight they booked me on after I missed the first flight. |
11/02 9:39am | Tix | I have yet to get tickets, but when I have in the past, I've usually had seat assignment. I think once I didn't, but I usually show up an hour to two hours (in one case) ahead of time.
I know to show up early, because, I've flown only twice (as in 2 round trips) since 9/11... and was randomly screened with a group of Indians and Middle Eastern-in-descent people each time. We stood around waiting, rolling our eyes at everything. |
11/02 3:32am | Travel | Things are locked in... going to LA next week, 9th through 13th, breakfast with the guys on Friday morn.
Anyone ever buy tickets from travelation.com? They had the cheapest tickets out there... like almost $100 cheaper... am I gonna get ripped off? |
10/17 9:38pm | That's not lemonade! | I'll be in my Ready Room! |
09/30 11:58pm | Good, but not finalist good. | For those who care... apparently the calls to the 11 finalists in the Nicholl Fellowship were made this past Wednesday. I did not get a call. I can likely expect a letter in Monday's mail containing the word "regrettably."
So, while I had a good run, it's over. I can only hope to get an agent to notice, or a manager, or something.
If you're curious, this feels exactly like hearing the girl of your dreams say "we're such good friends, I'll tell you first... I'm dating a great guy... you'd like him." |
09/26 12:09pm | G'Karr... | Back when Richard Biggs (Dr. Franklin of Babylon 5) died, Adam posted about it here. Maybe I'm late to the party, but did anyone know that Andreas Katsulas (G'Karr on B5 and Romulan Commander Tomalok on STTNG) passed on earlier this year?
Both have been written out of the supposedly upcoming Babylon 5 theatrical movie "Memory of the Shadows" (or something like that). JMS didn't want to recast either actor. |
09/25 8:38pm | Bloodrayne indeed... | Geez... he actually did it... Uwe Boll put up instead of shut up.
His movies still suck though... yes, Uwe, I have seen them... and I want my money back. |
09/25 2:14pm | Fatwa Fuckup | Staying with this auto theme... why do they hate us so much? Oh, this might be one reason. |
09/21 2:50pm | She's gone from suck, to blow! | SPACEBALLS! Watch out! |
09/20 11:54am | Doing it Texas Style... | Jeebus, I wish cops would die in more convenient places! People gotta eat y'know. |
09/06 11:13am | Ahhh... | Okay. Thanks GBarr and Ned. I knew what I did in his class, but couldn't remember what the specific course was. |
09/05 7:52pm | Wait, I remember! | Mr. Hackman! Mr. Hackman... that was the other guy. He was the other teacher that I actually enjoyed English with. What the heck did he teach now... I can't remember the exact class... |
09/05 11:59am | Yup. | Well, Monday morning (8/4), local time US. |
09/01 11:34am | Screenplay conspiracy? | I encourage everyone to listen to this this highly informative post about the Nicholl Fellowships In Screenwriting: Wayward Son has made it to the Semifinals! Of the 245 Quarterfinalists, there are only 108 Semifinalists, and I'm one of them. Still don't expect to win, but DAMN. Screw you high school English ('cept Mr. Bonfiglio and that other dude... yer cool). |
08/07 7:27pm | Bad Photoshop. | You might've seen this story on CNN about Adnan Hajj photographer, lazy Photoshoper, and damn liar. This blog examines the photos quite well, but faceless bat could see the clone-stamp tool in these photos. Damn. That's really, really, bad Photoshoping. |
08/04 11:21pm | And more... | Thanks for the congrats, all. Just to add another plus to everything (this wasn't unexpected though) -- while I figure there aren't many Tori Amos fans here, a painting of mine has just been published on the cover of the most recent issue of Little Blue World, a Tori Amos magazine. Click the link to see a small version of the cover.
They cropped it quite a bit (and made it grayscale), so if you care, the original, uncut version can be found on my site. |
08/03 2:06pm | I write and draw, yo. | Just a quick note: out of the 4,899 entrants into the 2006 Nicholl Fellowships In Screenwriting, my script, Wayward Son, was one of only 245 that advanced to the Quarterfinal round. So... on to the Semis! |
07/17 11:22am | Barry Manofwar | "I write the songs that make the whole world SCREAM. |
07/17 11:20am | Potty Mouth | Is this thing on? |
06/12 11:22am | XP Is just a squinting man sti | Ah, thanks G. I was wondering why I couldn't right click in XP (without a real mouse hooked up). I'll get those. Sarah is currently playing Age of Mythology on the MB, because it never ran on her laptop. |
06/11 12:26am | Hackintosh? | Well, it works all right. |
06/03 9:11am | Money. | Myspace is for more than just searching for underage girls and a free ticket to Dateline NBC! Oh, much more. You can sometimes find cool things, like failed clones. |
06/01 6:05pm | Intel Inside. | Most of you probably don't know, about a month and a half ago, I dropped my old G4 Powerbook from its carrying case. That was the straw that broke the camel's back (and screen -- shattered it in fact). It had been getting slowly worse as time went on, but got absolutely useless with the drop (anyone want to buy a hard drive?).
But all is better. I'm Intellin' now. Sorta. |
05/31 11:57am | Two Things. | First off, don't fuck with ex-marines. And second, Yippie ki-yay? |
05/26 2:47pm | Even the ACLU is like "WTF?" | Raping kids is bad... unless you're short. Then you get probation. |
05/25 7:33am | Aww... too bad. | It's a nice little step. Hopefully the ACLU doesn't fuck it up (in reference to the Kentucky law). I mean, I'm behind what they say most of the time, but just for sake of shutting Phelps up a little, can't they let this slide? Opinions anyone? Attack of freedom of speech, or just an attack on Phelps (and it only curbs him and his kind at national cemeteries)?
|
05/22 7:07pm | Fucked the fuckers. | Actually, it turned out better than expected. Patriot Guard was there. The WBC was blocks away, out of eyeshot and earshot.
And best; There were only a dozen or less picketers but a thousand or so from the town showed up, and at one point, broke the police line to try to kick their asses. Read the article. It's a rewarding read. |
05/21 11:28am | No, fuck you, Fred Phelps | A cousin of a friend of mine recently succumbed to injuries he sustained while fighting in Iraq. As tragic as this is, it's compounded by the fact that Fred Phelp's flunkies are going to show up and picket the funeral today. Even worse, it looks like no one knew, or thought, to call the Patriot Guard Riders. It actually makes me sick to my stomach.
EDIT: The Patriot Guard is supposed to be there. This is one bit of good news in this mess. |
04/02 10:54pm | Dim bulb about xenons. | Hey, I figure someone here will know... I found in my old room that I had a pair of never used Plasma Glow HID Xenon bulbs for my car (12V100/80W). Are these legal? Is that why I never used them? |
03/07 1:16pm | The Simpsons | If you haven't seen this ad from Sky One yet, well, D'OH! |
02/23 9:46am | Huh. | Yeah, yeah that's about right. |
12/03 1:33am | Hm. | Busk, you saying it's Darkside of the Moon/Oz type thang? |
12/02 2:37am | Make it so. Make it funky! | You're welcome. |
11/26 11:46am | Do not taunt PANEXA™ | Finally... a useful wonderdrug, PANEXA™. |
11/25 8:06pm | Sigh. | Dateline, Vermont: Teachers cannot voice opinions, and some people have no sense of humor. |
11/22 1:21pm | Seconded... or thirded. | Aye, Happy First Day of Dying day to $ean. I owe you a refreshing beverage of your choice. |
11/10 11:25pm | 700 Clubbed | "To the unbeliever: God hates you more than you hate yourself." And so does Pat Robertson. |
11/08 10:14pm | Sad. | If science doesn't fit the definition, change the definition of science. GRAH. Everyone point and laugh at Kansas... well, more than you already were. |
10/19 10:46pm | Shut up. | Hey, L. Brent Bozell and the Parent's Television Council, in the words of Peter Griffin "FAAHK YOU!" Just because it's a cartoon doesn't mean it's for kids. Oh, but thank you for making people notice "Three Wishes." That'll put a lot more quality programming on the air.
War At Home does suck though. But not because it's geared at families (something I can't believe). |
10/03 5:29pm | Geek spreads geekiness. | Dave probably heard this, but Nicolas Cage and his wife Alice Kim Cage, have had a son... who he named... Kal-el Coppola Cage. KAL-EL? That's Superman's real name... HOLY CRAP, that's odd. |
09/12 4:08pm | Pics | Excellent photos, Dan. Keep them coming. |
09/07 4:43pm | Baa-baa Bush | Thyroid Mary speaks again. |
08/31 2:55pm | Kemdi's Music | This link has some information about what Kemdi did after HHS -- apparently, she was recording. Quite fitting. :) She's about 3/4 down the page. |
08/31 2:48pm | KA | I knew Kemdi, and was in a play with her. I was sad to lose touch with her after HHS, and wondered what happened to her. I'm sad to hear that this is what happened. Yes, Dave, if you know anything else, I would like to be informed. Fun girl, great singing voice, great athelete. She's be greatly missed. |
08/27 6:14pm | Fuckers will pay. | This would mostly be to anyone who passes through Fairlee often. If anyone hears of a stolen radio from a red 92 Lebaron, sitting outside of Lakeside Auto, my father would like his goddamn radio back. And why the fuck did they steal the registration as well? Goddamn motherfucking podunk hick ass bullshit filled town. |
08/22 3:56pm | Masta Chief - Sho nuff! | Actually, I don't have Xbox live, or even hi-speed in this area. I was thinkin' more along the lines of food, folks, n murder. Y'know, people getting together over a pizza or BBQ and then shooting the hell out of each other in Blood Gulch while drunk. |
08/21 9:38pm | HeyLow. | I'm bored... y'all play Halo anymore? I wanna play. Sarah wants to play. C'mon! |
08/20 8:29pm | Walken away... | Unfortunately, no... no Suicide Presidents. |
08/14 8:59pm | Schweet. | DAVE: I should've known to ask you first. Thanks. That'd rock. I did see it when it aired. It was incredible. |
08/12 4:35pm | Top Gear | If anyone here TiVo's, tapes, torrents, etc. Top Gear... does anyone have last week's episode with the SLR McLaren? I want to see it again, dammit! Not that this week's Porsche GT was bad... but I wanna see the dam big benz again! |
08/05 11:33am | Fuck you, bitch. | Fuck you, Hill! |
07/21 12:37am | Alas... | I wasn't going to say anything, because the pic is hilarious, but since you asked, no, it is not a really Peter Griffin, but yes, it is an actual photo. |
06/29 9:49pm | Wheee! | Bouncy, bouncy, ouch. NWS? |
06/29 9:53am | A sore for sight eyes... | Ah, I love it. Ah sight for all those mobile car wrecks we see every day. |
06/27 10:54pm | Sorry... | Sorry, oMaT... but it was a tale that had to be told. |
06/26 10:21pm | Game over man! Game over! | Granted, this did happen in Fairlee, but these kids are the "next generation";
Pickin' up the paper at the local all night convienience store... kids and their cars (which are not pretty cars, I assure you) sitting on the stoop talking. One turns and says to the other -- with seriousness, and without being corrected -- "Man... I saw a Bluejay today that was completely red. Bright friggin' red."
Commence your screaming. |
06/24 2:55pm | CooCoo for Coco Puffs. | Apparently Tom Cruise is not only an actor, but a psychiatrist. Scientologists rule -- when rule means "are crazy people who need to take a nap." |
06/14 4:39pm | AAHHHHHH!!! | OH MY GAWD YOU BROKE IT! Check out the rest of the site for more pain. |
06/10 2:07pm | Choices, choices... | Hmmm... which semi-local car club would you rather be a member of... this or this... hmmmm....
I'm sorry... I just can't believe they have a Miata club... |
05/21 11:37am | Wow. | I know I've said it before but, WOW... they make it in black? |
05/20 1:22pm | Uh | Not just them, Trolld. Sarah and I might make time as well. |
05/14 10:37am | Gilligan again? | They did that show last year - this one is a sequal to the first reality show. They recruited people and put two sets of real people playing the Gilligan cast on the island and then played "Survivor" with them. Went off the air early because no one was watching. I'm surpised someone thought it earned another chance. |
05/05 2:06pm | Good news Terrible News | Good news, GBarr and I stared at a Viper at lunch.
Bad news I'd get in trouble for murdering these people. |
04/19 4:49pm | Right | Right... it's not like her father was teaching her off-roading... she was in a damn school parking lot. And went airborne.
But "hooray" to the now dead mother who threw her child out of harms way. That's a good mom. And I hope that girl likes growing up knowing she made some baby motherless. |
04/19 12:18pm | Crazy indeed.. | Accident or no, I don't think you can ever have a license, bitch. |
04/15 12:40pm | Stupid. | Snow, you might like this. Another event making me wonder if we should have that mandatory senior driver re-testing. |
04/15 9:03am | Heh. | Genius. |
04/12 9:16am | iPod One | This link about Bush's iPod brings up a question in my mind; will this be good or bad for the iPod? ;) Bad - because a lotta people hate everything he does ("He uses an iPod? Bah, Dell DJ it is!"). Good - it shows a moron can use the iPod with ease.... no wait... it doesn't (see article). |
03/09 11:00am | Stupid. | "Could you come back to court next year?"
"No, sir, no I can't." |
02/24 5:06pm | Hah. Apple. | Abso-friggin-brill Troll. And gawdamn accurate. |
02/23 10:01am | Head found God and said "boo!" | That's different. |
02/17 10:16am | Xburn | Don't know when y'all bought your Xboxes... but here's my PSA for today. |
02/17 9:17am | Snoopy Dogg | Neat. |
02/15 9:35am | Gah! | 100 coconuts? "That's a lotta nuts!"
And, how odd it is, to quickly scan the logs and catch only the phrase "kill a cock." Feminists. |
02/10 1:30pm | Dayyyyymn. | This is the teacher? Dayyyymn. Even her booking photo is hot. Well, as booking photos go. |
02/10 1:25pm | Insane video | Some of you may remember that WNBC Chopper 4 went down in Brooklyn summer 2004, while covering a shooting for the station. What you might not have seen is the incredible video of the chopper crashing. The amazing thing, the two pilots and reporter aboard escaped with only minor injuries. |
02/02 1:13pm | Darwin Again? | A sad tale, and a tragedy to be sure, but at the same time, never, ever say to someone (with an air of defiance) robbing you at gunpoint, "What are you going to do, shoot us?" |
02/01 1:24am | Hm. | Gbarr, that T is quite similar to one of Conan's "State Quarters," that read something like "New Hampshire, 69'n Vermont since..."
And that Dr Who thing is hilarious... and (geek moment) Lalla Ward? That's Tom Baker's wife (who played the second, and less attractive, regeneration of his companion, Romana.). How the hell do you pronounce Lalla anyhoo? |
01/21 9:40am | Arrgh. | "I never hated the one true God, but the god of the people I hated." For love of Pauly Shore, would someone just smack the heads of the American Family Association?! I wish they'd stop assuming they're speaking for anyone but their bigotted, looney, crazy as funk members. |
01/20 8:28am | Tee Hee... | The caption might not be true, but c'mon... they're hilarious! |
01/18 2:16pm | Darwin! | Darwin strikes again! "Look what I can still do?" No, no you can't. |
01/06 3:01pm | Blue Screen of DEATH | I know how most feel in here, but maybe in the future, at least Bill Gates' presentations should be done on a Mac. |
12/29 11:03am | Sad. | Unfortunately, Jerry Orbach wasn't as okay as they said he was. Dead at 69. |
12/28 2:10pm | Hey... | I see Sno... he is in the store. |
12/26 7:19pm | Help! | Anyone have any advice/help on setting up a streaming video feed? I have an Apple iSight. Granted this'll be over dial-up, but it'll still do updated slow shots. How do I go about doing this? |
12/23 11:52am | That Yellow Bastard | Cool, thanks for posting that, Jon. Hadn't seen the whole trailer yet. Sin City will most likely be the best adapted comic book movie ever (and if you haven't read the comics... you should). |
12/15 10:38am | Argh... | So they're making a sequel to XXX. Only, it stars Ice Cube. Sigh. But, on an odd note, take a look at the trailer for the Tim Burton Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Johnny Depp as Wonka? Eh... we'll see. |
12/11 12:20pm | Uh | Yer joking. Right, Jon? I posted about Tuck a while back, and you said "Who the hell is Tuck" then. And I told you. |
12/09 3:52pm | Syd | Now that Jon knows who Tuck is (and some of you already knew), I'll mention on December 17, 2004 at 8:00 pm at the Canoe Club Syd (the band Tuck is lead guitarist for) will performing... with Gregory Douglass... whoever that is. Just a note, it's probably not everyone's musical cup o'tea... but I'm going, and I thought I'd let all know. |
12/09 9:44am | Pan-terror | Some of you might have heard this already, but this might be interesting to Dollar (or any other Pantera fan). This article about last night's nightclub shooting, in which 4 people were killed, including gutarist "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott. |
12/02 11:33am | ... | Ever see "Quiz Show" Dave?
Anyway, this is sad. I hope "Lenny" will be fine. |
12/01 9:19am | Form of a question... | Richard Jennings loses? He can't get the final Jeopardy question... fine... but answer the way he did? Sounds like he threw it... |
11/19 12:57am | Marathold | Well, I wanted to play it on the new system, without digging up my 6116 Performa. That'd take up some room. Keyboard? You were one of those players? Gah. Mouse n' Keyboard for me... tho' I used to have a bad version of 'Thon... after a while the view would drift upward and lock, so you could never look down past navel level. |
11/18 2:02pm | Aleph One | So, cuz of Halo 2 and such, I felt like playing Marathon(s) again. Well I still have 2 and Infinity, but they wouldn't run on OSX. Thanks to Aleph One, they can and will. But now I have Marathon One again, and it won't run under 10 or Aleph One. Every time the mouse is moved, frame rate drops below useable. Anyone know how to run this? (BTW - Also have Pathways Into Darkness again... HHS Color Classic flashbacks... Also found I still have a copy of Marathon One Beta... the thing that came/leaked out before the demo.). |
11/17 12:00pm | Law & Uh-oh. | Vincent D'Onofrio in the hospital. |
11/11 2:27pm | Sigh... | I understand why they're doing it, and I'm as disappointed with the election outcome as anyone else in here... but I find it funny that it comes from "MoveOn.org," because, it's one thing they can't seem to do. I think Dean's letters through there are of a better nature - Let's look forward, not dwell. |
11/09 12:13pm | Mustang | I finally own my car, free and clear. With that said... time to trade it in and get a new one. :) Mebbe a new Mustang GT next summer... |
11/03 11:23am | ... | Fucking doomed. That's all. Fucking doomed. Red Sox took all the good energy... now we're just... just doomed. |
10/28 9:20am | Marathon... sorta... | We've done it... Sarah and I have entered the realm of those with Xbox (and yes, I've used one, but I never realized those things are HUGE). Who needs sleep, eh? |
10/22 1:52pm | GAH! | MutherFudruCKer, Bernat! I cry on the inside... no dealer around here has them in yet (West Coast usually gets cars first, right?). What color is it? I'm sure the Pontiac GTO is worth it (I am soooo joking.). |
10/22 10:24am | GT | Ignoring the fact it's an eBay auction, they have good pictures of this thang. I like it... and I'm so not in position to get one (money aside). |
10/21 1:12pm | Yeesh | I agree with Jon, but if it's just a failure of gravity, we'll be lucky. |
10/18 1:50am | ... | You seem oddly annoyed by that log, Jon... Tuck is a good friend who I hadn't seen in a while. Adam would know him, or anyone else who mighta hung out with Thetford/Fairlee kids back in high school. Tuck or Tucky is a nickname. |
10/16 1:40pm | Syd | For those of you who know/remember Tuck(y) Stocking... here's what he's up to now. Touring the country and all that. And the music isn't terrible either. |
10/15 11:44am | Hmph. | I thought I'd heard of most of the towns in Vt. Guess not. |
09/28 12:03pm | I like to move it, move it. | Who wants to help us move? We're aiming for this Sunday, the 3rd. Anyone with pickups or bigger vehicles would be appreciated. It'd be in Fairlee, moving stuff outta my parents house in Fairlee, and some stuff out of a storage unit in Bradford, VT. There will be a liquid refreshment payment package. Email me if you can help. We won't need too many people. Thanks ahead of time. |
09/24 5:15pm | Postin' Crazy | Oh, well at least they made a business decision. Oh... and keep yer eyes on dem Jews! Sheesh. F'n WalMart. |
09/24 2:45pm | Argghh... | Here are the quotes all written out nice like. Some are howlers. Most are just sad. |
09/24 10:40am | DubyaTF | I've been looking around for this. Actual words spoken by Dubya on 9/7, addressing the problems in health care. If you can't listen to the clip right away, here's a transcript of the quote; "Too many good docs are getting out of business. Too many O.B.G.Y.N's aren't able to practice their... their love with women all across this country." To which my wife shuddered, and said "I don't WANT them to practice their love on me!" |
09/21 9:48am | Fantastic... suit. | I don't know how long the image will last, but here's Jessica Alba as the Invisible Woman from the upcoming Fantastic Four movie. Skin-tight suit on Jess Alba is a good thing. |
09/17 2:25pm | Geez. | Oh, for crap's sake. |
09/01 10:23am | Ouch... huh? | Charlize Theron was hurt on the set of Aeon Flux. HUH? They're making an Aeon Flux movie? |
06/21 7:23pm | Green Fairy | Jon... 'bout your earlier post about going in on a bottle... a few ex-co-workers and I were going to do that... since they're ex-co-workers... that never happened. Let's see how many people we can gather together... |
05/03 4:07pm | SLR | Does anyone know when the SLR McLaren will be available in the US? It's pretty. |
04/30 1:13pm | Truth. | Saddam's been doing good as a CIA opperative, piloting that British F-16. Sigh. When the truth really isn't enough. |
04/29 12:04pm | Ack. | Good gravy GBarr! Ow. |
04/06 12:41pm | Geoshitties | Yahoo sucks. My service expired, but they didn't bother to tell me it was going to or that it did. Found out when my webpage was gone. Yelled at customer service, got everything back. However melbourneit.com owns my domain, which expires at the end of the month. This'll be fun. |
04/02 3:42pm | Dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb. | By George, I think they've got it... wait, NO they don't. |
04/02 10:44am | Hurm... | Remember everyone make loved... not warning. |
03/26 1:47pm | Sorta Bumblebee | Now, who thinks they need to get goin' on that Transformer movie in the works? This is unrelated, but NICE. Autobots, TRANSFORM! |
03/26 1:33pm | Endless Love | That voice, those eyes. |
03/26 11:57am | Hurm. | Apparently he liked dogs and Watermelon. *Shrug* |
03/26 1:45am | DUMB. | The coolest and stupidest thing I've ever seen. |
03/19 11:05am | Sigh. | The MORNONS of the Christ. Sigh. |
03/11 2:35pm | Eh... | If they're quality, Jon, I'm not bothered. And so far so good. |
03/10 1:30pm | But the Bible says... | Not attacking anyone's beliefs with this, but it is darn funny and informative. |
03/06 7:35pm | Nice... | Qaz, from the bottom of me foot, I thank you for those TV show intros. I found a site like it once, but they had no 80s toons. Very nice. |
03/05 4:49pm | Casshern | Casshern... Jon... we need to see that movie! I need to own it. All that for 5 Billion Yen (bout $37Mil)? That was beautiful. Reminds me much of Storm Riders and Liquid Sword... but finally they're really getting into that futuristic/techno anime. |
03/02 4:30pm | Posty Posty | Um, more than one site has this listed as such, but are these truly the lyrics to Superheroes by Daft Punk? (Apparently: NWS) |
03/02 12:29pm | Owich | Someone posted them here once, but here's finally the true story on the supposed "crushed carjacker". I don't know where you work, but I'd consider this NWS, and a disturbing image. |
03/02 12:19pm | April Fools! No, really... | Fun, fun, fun... gullible is written on this page. |
03/02 11:17am | Hm... | Hafta say Jon, those are funny as hell (the school closings) some look like the could be PS, but the tv at an angle ones are damn good if they are. Heh... all your base... |
02/26 11:58am | Relentless | Allow me to introduce the Relentless... a modified Reliant that can go from 0 to 130 in 10.53 seconds. |
02/26 10:51am | Dumbasses | These dumbasses shouldn't play with... uh... wood. |
01/03 10:57am | Yeah, cool | I got that NYCNYE panorama up on my site right now (or at least linked from). Panoramas.dk is a fun site. |
12/28 6:33pm | Uh.. hmm... | Aye bobjam, that is certainly the HHS (NH) Logo. Looks like whoever put together the piece just typed in "Hanover High School Logo" into google image search and took the first one they found... for the NH school... not the PA school. Dumbasses. |
11/30 7:28pm | Oh, and... | Just a note on the East Point Police in GA, the self arrest form is real. It's just a bit of humor on their part. I'm sure they'd give a call to any moron who tried to seriously confess something, but they're just trying to be more "community minded" and all. ;) |
10/31 5:24pm | Hee hee hee... | They're kinky to some, but scary as hell for this guy. |
10/16 2:38am | Oh G... | So what happened to this regular felon, eh? Report him, or we gonna have a little G wit a bat action? Can I help? Pleassse... I got like 35 minutes of mad now, and no one should have more than 15... |
10/09 9:49pm | *L* | "If you can't be relatively guaranteed to win, dont play the damn game." Hey, the Lions show up for the NFL every year. ;) And everyone is relatively guaranteed to win at the begining of the season. Or there wouldn't be much in the way of sports anymore, eh? And Katie, he meant to be arrogant...as you see, he didn't correct you on the fact that Yankee fans are arrogant, he corrected you to make sure you got them right. It's ironic humor. |
10/04 1:13am | My mom? | Talking about my mom, when you and yours are the Montel episode waiting to happen. Later for you bitch. |
10/03 9:52pm | Okay :) | Adam and the others were right. You're much more entertaining when you're not taken seriously. Which should be all the time. Way to go, you remind me of my early chat days. :) "Your mom." Good one.... ooo... professional. Lout. *L* And I'll bitch and moan about what I want as much as you do about China... wherever the fuck you found that comment. *L* |
10/03 10:40am | Riiiight..... | First, I think I mentioned a LONG time ago about the same thing. Doing something, vs just bitching. I sign petitions whenever I can, I vote for the politicians I believe can do something, I participate in town government. Second, I can "bitch" all I want in here. We covered this a while back to. Unless Adam is going to start censoring posts, we still have the right to say whatever we want about whatever we want in here. If you don't like it, don't read it. Hence why I started a new thread. And third, what the fuck does China have to do with any of our conversations? China may not contain "fat, ignorant, texan warhogs" but they contain their own government imposed ignorant and oppressed people. But that's a whole 'nuther story. |
10/02 2:03pm | Hah | Saw that on CNN... hilarious... I know why they need to do that and who was paying for it, but still funny. Reminds me of the SNL Weekend Update comment about gene altered onions... "and in other news... people are still dying from cancer. Hello! Scientists! Put the onion down and solve cancer!"
But good argument on the gun control thing. One shot and then reload. I like that. |
10/02 10:27am | Blah... | Well for one, the idea would seem completely unconnected if I dropped in a news post, and two, why use 3 words when you can use twenty for every 4? I'm a writer dammit. So, is that a dare Jon? Next time I post, it'll be longer, even if I have to copy/paste a few times. ;) |
10/02 2:32am | Um... | I don't think population control is part of "gun rights". And I didn't think the US was having such a population boom like China, or at least to the extent that Dubbya and fronds were running around castrating all males, to stem the tidal wave of the gene pool after an Anna Nicole-Smith sized cannon-ball into the shallow end. Besides, natural selection and the idea of the Darwin Award is the moron who cleans his loaded rifle, or the drunks who try to shoot beer cans off of each other's heads. Fine. Dandy. Good for them. Natural selection is not the 4 year old who finds his father's loaded handgun and accidently shoots dead his 7 year old sister and seriously wounds his 5 year old brother (recent news, but cnn doesn't have it current anymore. Anyone, link?). That's not natural selection, because the moron father who left the gun loaded and un triggerlocked and in an unlocked dresser drawer is still alive. It's his innocent daughter and sons who paid the price. Oh sure, the parents will go to jail, but when they get out, their daughter is still just as dead. If natural selection means that the strongest are the ones who can survive gunfire and dodge bullets, that means the best of us are certain gangsta rappers, superman and neo, and the rest of us from Stephen Hawking to $ean are just meat. Nuh-uh. I don't think so. Hate to say it, the Beatles were wrong, and Garfield was right "Happiness is a warm kitten." |
10/01 4:36pm | Gah. | True, that would suck Gbarr, but one of their goals is strengthening gun rights. I'm sorry, but there already enough morons out there with guns, and I'm not talking about hunters. Yeah, yeah, guns don't kill people, people kill people, whatever. I have yet to see a report of a drive-by stabbing, kids accidently finding their parents bow and arrow set in their bedroom, or gang shooting with blowguns. I have little or no problem with the rest of the Libertarian's goals, but drop the gun bullshit. We don't need more needless deaths. If anything we need more gun control. |
10/01 10:41am | Dammit | I hate you Busk! That link sucked... but of course I had to make other people see the subliminals.
Anyhoo, Gbarr, the rapping kid is different from Ghyslain (sp) the Star Wars Kid. So click that link to see him. And click here to see more about him.
Bastardos! |
09/26 10:07am | Earthquake | Well, good to know you're okay at least. That is a rude awakening. Sounds like it was much bigger than the one in VT/NY/NH (heh). I ferget, were you here for that?
So far, I've got to experience 3 small to a bit larger than small quakes here, and one on the west coast that was also nothing (didn't even wake dave or lori up). |
09/22 10:29am | Uhh... $ean | Dollar, you are joking, right? That was a joke article. I mean her name "Lizzy Gekko is a dead giveaway. The Geico gekko sells car insurance, of course, but the connection is funny none-the-less. Multiple whip-lash indeed. ;) Other articles on the site are about the horned boy (son of satan) and the fact that UF0s are powered by paranormal means (taping into the same engery ghosts draw from). It's one of these "but we're serious... sorta" sites. It's an online tabloid. It's very Onion-ish. Lots of these sites are coming out now. |
09/16 2:27pm | No reward. | No reward or contest, and the whole thing is explained at this link. Adam is completely right, it's greek or dummy text, used to fill text to see how a document will look. |
09/15 12:56pm | Evil tat | Oh, no doubt it does happen, I was just questioning the veracity of the article. Usually when I find a crazy story like that, I like to pass it around, but I've been called out on the truth of them in the past, and now I double check before going "you'll never believe." But I'm sure it does happen, like in Ned's story. And it all comes from an unhealthy addiction to Snopes the Urban Legend Website. |
09/15 10:48am | Is it real? | The article is funny as hell, and I'm sure this happens a lot IRL, but is the story true? I put Andy Sakai (or more precisely Andy Sakai tattoo), the "award winning" tattoo artist into google, and he only came up under this article and copies. That's highly suspicious. And the website you got it from seems to be very Onion-ish. The only articles I found on this story were copies of this original one. Even the AP covers funny shit like this, and there isn't one independent mention of it anywhere. I'm not buying it. If anyone can throw me an independent link which doesn't match this article, I'll give in. I mean, proceedings on the obvious court case arising from this would suffice. No one is going to let this go. |
09/12 5:16pm | What I do | Just wanted to share with y'all what I do at work. Here are two prime examples; Chunky Soup's H2 and Pop Tart's American Idols Live Tour. Yes, I have something to do with American Idols. I'm sorry. |
09/12 11:08am | Batman | And it's official, Batman in Batman: Intimidation Game (working title) will be played by Christian Bale of American Psycho (among other things). This Batman will be a Batman: Year One type story about a 21 year old Bruce Wayne becoming Batman for the first time. And it's a lot better than who was also up for the roll... no joke; Ashton Kutcher. Dude, where's my Batmobile? That would have been the biggest load of suck since... uh, well, since the last Batman movie with Clooney. |
09/12 11:01am | Punisher | For those of you worried about Thomas Jane as the Punisher ($ean), check this recent photo out. |
09/09 12:28pm | New album | 'Lo all. Glad to be with ya... As my first major post, I've put up an album with pics from my recent weekend with a Viper. :) |
