7:17am | WC | As a soccer player and avid watcher of the game, I would like to add my "two cents". Yes, Zidane was a fool for blowing his cool and head butting Materazzi. He also has a history for violent outbursts during games. But it is obvious that Materazzi said something pretty harsh to get Zidane all fired up. I believe that it was the goal of the Italians to get Zidane off the pitch knowing that they would go into penalty kicks. Zidane was the heart and soul of the French team and without him; the French were pretty much doomed. Simply put, I don't really respect or trust the Italian team. Many of their players are in trouble with the law due to fixing games in their professional league; they play soccer with little/no sportsmanship. Yes, players from other countries take dives, but the Italians take it to another level as noted by Ned. The game against Germany was disgusting. Conveniently, when Germany was advancing, the Italians would fall and cry which forced the ref to stop the game. This happened more than once doing the game. In the end, I feel that Italy used unconventional tactics to win the World Cup. | 05/11

1:01pm | It is time | Unfortunately those 7&7's took Ned and myself out of the game last night, but we didn't pass out on the couch early as did the girls (and no, not really on the hitlist). Good news though, I was able (as usual) to beat Ned in darts. Gbarr, get yourself some bday luv and make those 17 year olds scream for more. Prime meat. Yo Kdawg, it is time...you need give me the contact details of that 19 yr old slampig. She defines it, and I luv it. Nice pics. She deserves this d_ick in her life. I'll give her the tourist tour of NYC - straight to my bathroom, so I can take her on the sink. Honestly, get me in there!
