The code here isn't cleaned up at all, and is just put up here for people to browse and use for reference code.

The hope is that people elsewhere will find these projects useful and use them as a base for features in their applications, allowing them to focus on other things. And in doing so give feedback so the code can be improved. Cross compatibility is something strived for, which is why there are no binaries available for download.
